SOUTHGATE — The Information Center in Taylor is hosting a high school dropout risk factor panel discussion from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 9 at the Southgate Veterans Memorial Library, 14680 Dix-Toledo Road. The program is presented by Edward D’Angelo, president and CEO of The Information Center.
There will be discussion on the early warning signs of drop out and available resources to help change the life course for youth.
The program’s goal is to help high school age youth and their parents understand drop out risk factors, important steps that can be taken to prepare for college, negotiating college financial assistance and the essentials of job readiness.
