Healthy Downriver Community Team hosts annual resource fair for professionals

 The Healthy Downriver Community Team, a local community collaborative, will present its annual free resource fair “Mending the Safety Net”, Friday, January 23rd from 8:30 am-11:30 am at Wayne County Community College District-Downriver Campus, 21000 Northline Road, Taylor. This event is an opportunity for non-profit direct service providers to attend and/or have an exhibit table, at no cost. This event is designed for family services workers, hospital and school social workers, nurses, case managers, any health, human services, education or early childhood professionals or volunteers who assist families in need.

For exhibitor info and registration, or general info about the event, please contact Carol Meyers cmeyers@waynemetro.org  Registration is not needed to attend the event, if you do not have an exhibit table. Mending the Safety Net is sponsored by the Healthy Downriver Community Team, a local community collaborative with active participation from The Information Center, Wayne Metropolitian Community Action Agency, Wayne County Community College District-Downriver Campus, The Guidance Center, Downriver Community Conference, Trenton Exchange Club, Community Care Services and the Department of Human Services.
