Rapid Response
Our Business and Employment specialist attends worker orientations when businesses suffer mass layoffs or closings. The Information Center, Inc. attends these functions in conjunction with unemployment and Michigan Works. Laid off workers learn how to file an unemployment claim and to how to access services at the Michigan Works service centers. The Information Center, Inc. is present to educate the unemployed about our free services, offering information and referral to individuals as they are between jobs. They may be facing a number of difficulties after a job loss and The Information Center, Inc. is available to help.
