Caregiver Workshops
Caring for an elderly family member can be tremendously rewarding, and it can also put a lot of stress on the caregiver. Remember you are not alone; the caregiver workshops can help.
Caregiving Conferences
Are you providing care for an older adult or person with a disability? Let us help you! We are offering a "one-stop-shop" for caregivers. Caregivers and the adult person they are caring for are welcome to attend. There will be something for everyone! There is no charge to attend. Care Management Services
Helping elders plan for in-home care is what Care Management Services are all about. The goal is to help locate and arrange for care at home, taking into account personal needs. There are no financial requirements to qualify for this program.

Long-term care takes many forms and we know it can be confusing when trying to arrange care you are comfortable with. We will help you find options for current and future planning.

We are an intake site for two senior prescription programs, designed to help seniors on a fixed income. Learn more here.
Project Care Choices (Medicaid Waiver Program)
Like Care Management, this program assists elders and the disabled plan for in-home care. Designed for those who want an alternative to nursing home, it can assist with the payment of care services at home. There are specific financial requirements to qualify for this program.
Senior Citizen Legal Aid
Attorneys from Wayne County Legal Aid Services are available on selected dates to help senior citizens with a variety of legal needs at no charge.
Tax Preparation
Many senior citizens are eligible for special tax relief. Our trained volunteers help seniors file Federal and State tax statements and get the most out of available relief.
