Seniors Tax Preparation

Many senior citizens are eligible for special tax relief, such as the Homestead Property Tax and the Home Heating Credit. Beginning in January and ending in April, trained volunteers help seniors file Federal and State tax statements and get the most out of available relief. Volunteers work out of several Downriver locations and are trained and monitored by the Internal Revenue Service.
